Day 1: Addis Ababa - Fly Jinka

Fly from Addis Ababa to Jinka in the morning.

After lunch, visit the local markets and some Omo Valley tribes, such as the Ari or Benna.

If time allows, visit the Jinka Museum to understand the local tribes better.

Overnight in Jinka at a lodge or hotel

Day 2: Mursi Tribes - Fly Addis Ababa

Enjoy a morning drive to the Mursi Tribes. From an anthropological point of view, the Mursi people are one of the most interesting in Africa. They belong to The Nilo-Saharian language group and speak a language similar to that of the Surma and Me’en people. Among their vast and strange cultures is the “Lip Plate”, which they practice by cutting their lower lip to insert a clay disc. The men have scarifications on their shoulders and arms.

Afterwards, drive back to Jinka for lunch.

Transfer to Jinka airport for your flight to Addis Ababa.
